At the EGI 2025 conference in Santander (Spain), France Grilles showcased its strong commitment to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) by presenting three complementary contributions illustrating its long standing collaboration with EGI. (Author Samuel Keuchkerian)

1. France Grilles – Core Infrastructure & Coordination (Jérôme Pansanel)
A foundational presentation on the role of France Grilles as the French representative in the EGI Federation, highlighting its contributions to federated resource provisioning, authentication frameworks, and EOSC service integration.
2. FAIR-EASE & Data Terra Collaboration (Samuel Keuchkerian)
This talk emphasized how France Grilles contributed to the construction of the FAIR-EASE Data Lake infrastructure and highlighted its growing synergy with Data Terra, which has now been recognized as a national and thematic EOSC node for Earth Science. The session stressed how federated computing and EOSC-aligned workflows (e.g., Galaxy, Pulsar, Terria.io) empower advanced scientific analysis on environmental and geospatial data.

3. Medical Imaging and Reproducibility through VIP (Axel Bonnet, CNRS/CREATIS)
Axel Bonnet delivered two presentations showcasing the use of the VIP platform in cutting-edge biomedical research:
– « Reproducibility through the VIP Dashboard »
– « Federated Cancer Imaging with EUCAIM: VIP as a Gateway to EGI »
These talks highlighted the strategic role of VIP in ensuring reproducibility and secure federated access to sensitive medical data, positioning France Grilles as a key contributor to the EUCAIM ecosystem.
4. Session Moderation – “Science Unleashed: Open, FAIR & Reproducible Science”
Samuel Keuchkerian (CNRS) also acted as moderator for the session “Science Unleashed: Open, FAIR & Reproducible Science”, facilitating high-level discussions around openness, reproducibility, and the governance of research infrastructures in the EOSC ecosystem.

Together, these contributions demonstrate the shared ambition of strengthening interoperability, sovereignty, and sustainability of digital infrastructures at the heart of EOSC.
France Grilles continues to act as a strategic enabler for federated science in France and across Europe.
